story of the door responce

In Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde there were many moments that stood out. One of them was at the beginning (pg 3-4) when Hyde "camly trampled over the child's screaming body". well how do u "calmly trip"I think Mr Stevenson's word choice was a bit confusing it was like he was purposely describing Hyde like a monster. The second moment was at the bank the bank teller said the check was real even thought a different name was written on it   I thought  it was interesting that they thought Dr. Jekyll was being blackmail by Mr. Hyde. Mr. Utterson and Mr.Enfield did not realize that they could be same person or perhaps they did.  On page 7 Mr. Utterson says"I know it must seem strange.  The fact is, if I do not ask you the name of the other party, it is becuse I know it already."

  1. When Stevenson said that he "calmly trampled" the girl, I think he refered to making it so Mr. Hyde didn't really care. But I like how you said that Stevenson described Hyde as a monster.
